Why Visit Eyeries? It's Ireland's Most Stunning Village, That's Why

Located on the Beara Peninsula, in the very southwest of Ireland, and right on the globally famous Wild Atlantic Way, the village of Eyeries rests in one of the most visually stunning settings in Ireland.

Perched on a bluff overlooking Coulagh Bay, and with the windswept Atlantic just beyond, Eyeries is a secret jewel many have never heard of, but are now discovering.

From walking along our many coastal trails, to swimming, fishing or kayaking in the scenic bay, to the many fascinating archaeological finds dotted across the area, Eyeries has something for everyone.

And our small picturesque village - which is one of the most heavily awarded in the country for its beauty and tidiness - offers a wealth of welcomes. Its bars and restaurant, shops and parks, and the warmth of its people, give visitors from all over the world a memory of tranquility never forgotten.

In this occasional blog, we will endeavour to point out what is special about Eyeries Village and the surrounding area. What makes people come here and why they come back.

We hope that you will soon join them by discovering Eyeries for yourself.
